Lusaka Rugby Club is affiliated to the Zambia Rugby Football Union and play 1st team matches in ZRFU League. The ZRFU season runs from March to October each year with a break in June for a series of Sevens tournaments. As well as the ZRFU league, the fixture list also includes a number of tournaments open to all affiliate clubs. These include the American Tournament in Kitwe, the Nchanga 10s in Chingola, the Mufulira 7s, the Rhino 7s in Ndola and the Castle Sevens.

In 2007 Lusaka Rugby Club are playing in group B of the ZRFU League (see Zambian Rugby link for full details). At the end of July the fixtures for the 2nd half of the season will be determined depending on group A and group B finishing positions - WATCH THIS SPACE

Home Matches - Entry to matches is K10,000. 1st team games kick off at 15.45 hours, however, on some days the main match may be preceded by a B team fixture or a ladies match. The club bar is open from early in the morning on all match days and the restaurant serves full meals and snacks throughout the day. Matches are followed by a disco late into the night.

Getting to Matches - Lusaka Rugby Club has a car park which is manned by guards throughout all match days. Those traveling on public transport can use Great East Road busses and alight at the Showgrounds bus stop by Manda Hill Shopping centre. Busses run from the Showgrounds up until around 20.00 hours and taxis are available from outside showgrounds until around midnight.
