The Union has 18 affiliated clubs, plus a referees society and a coaches society. In total there are 2,000 members by virtue of their club’s and societie’s affiliation to the Union. Of those, 1,500 are players. In addition to this, there are 25 schools registered with the Union.

The Union fields national teams at the following levels: Senior, Under 21, Under 18, Under 14, Ladies and Sevens.
